Well Happy Independence Day to you over there...but for here...well b/c you know. Oh!!! I'm so glad you got the kuku dance on video! I'm sure you are taking lots of pics, but please continue b/c I want to see them all and here about everything when you get back!
I'm sorry about all the phone trouble you have been experiencing, that just stinks. And to not have all the numbers in it. Mussa's number in my phone is 255 754 678 393. I laugh b/c I have no idea what exact numbers to tell you to dial to get a hold of him. I'm assuming some of the first numbers are country codes...so maybe for you it would be 467 8393? I think he may be up the mountain right now though b/c I haven't heard from him in a couple of days. But I would try that at least.
Is it Janet or Teddy that has taken a liking to you? I really really really loved them both! So PRECIOUS!
How did Steve and his sponsor kid Noeli connect? He was one of the boys that stood out to me also.
Have you met Paul or Paulo yet? He helps out Pastor a lot. He was a great guy to hang out with while we were around the church.
I'm just realizing, you haven't experienced a church sunday there yet?!!! YAY WHOOO!! You are in for something great! You will have special seats up in front, maybe even different colored chairs...and you will be dancing and singing and praising God. And if Pastor's speaking, you will be there for a LOOONNNGGG while! But I loved every church service we were able to go to.
I particularly remember one when the offering was taking place. Some people brought up money, but a lot brought pieces of wood, some brought paint, I remember some food as well. I cried. It was so amazing to me. I never saw any goats or chickens given as an offering, but I heard it happens. But seriously to see the sacrifice these people give when they have nothing is so amazing. If only america could start living that way.
I'm going to stop. I'm sure you have better things to do than to read a novel from me every day.
I'm praying for wisdom for you all in choosing projects. I'm sure Pastor has a list of things that you could do! I'll pray that God directs you to the best ones.
it is juliana that has attatched herself to me. she's such a sweet girl with a contagious smile!
steve and noeli connected well. he showed up in a suit jacket and beanie yesterday looking pretty pimp. he's a funny kid.
there is one little one...oh geez, this is terrible but i don't know if it's a boy or girl, and i forget their name, but oh man! hilarious! lindsey and i call him/her little bill cosby. they just have the biggest smile and a gut laugh that is to die for.
grace has worked both steve and i over. she is so adorable and loves to cuddle ALL the time. she has these huge eyes that just melt you. her dad is a teacher in the saturday program, so we'll meet him today.
thanks for mussa's number, we'll hook up with him as soon as we can.
oh! i almost forgot...rehema wanted me to be sure to tell you "jambo".
